Instore Interactive Display

To showcase the networking capability of their sound systems, this personal electronics company wanted to set up an integrated interactive display. I detailed and dimensioned the showcase components and helped to develop a display system that could be used in other product programs.

Banking Kiosks

A well known banking company wanted to update the look of its Canadian branches. Taking design cues from it’s European locations, I designed, detailed and developed customer kiosks and ATM surrounds.

Portable Display

The sales reps at a this personal electronics company needed a portable display to showcase and demonstrate it’s new earphone system. Instead of the usual tabletop display of binder based information sheets, Bose went for an album style display. There was a lot of engineering and design consideration put into this unit which was eventually prototyped in aluminum and acrylic. In order for custom fabrication and design flexibility a number of extrusion profiles were created to provide not only structure but also functionality, such as panel holding slots and an integrated hinge system.

Bank Teller Screen

Next teller please.
You’ve seen these signs at your local banking institution. They are often placed in front of an empty spot in the teller line up informing the client to skip that wicket and head to the next one. But what if there is a person behind that sign? Though it might seem pretty straightforward that when the sign is up, the wicket is closed but surprisingly that isn’t the case.

An Office Layout

Space was getting tight at the office and soon there were going to be a few new employees. In order to address these issues I developed a new office layout that would allow for growth, improve office workflow, and give individuals a space to call their own.

Last winter I had a project bike in the basement that I was eagerly getting ready for spring (2009). It was going to be a fun, fast and ‘fancy’ freestyle bike made for a combination of doing tricks and transporting me around the city in style!

Window Bench & Ikea Hacking

Technology of Beauty

I was the principal designer for this exhibit, which showcased the technology of health and beauty equipment over the past century. In addition to developing the overall exhibit space in terms of layout, colour and educational interpretation, I also determined the artifact layout and mounting methods.
