Bank Teller Screen
You’ve seen these signs at your local banking institution. They are often placed in front of an empty spot in the teller line up informing the client to skip that wicket and head to the next one. But what if there is a person behind that sign? Though it might seem pretty straightforward that when the sign is up, the wicket is closed but surprisingly that isn’t the case. These screens were designed to address these situations when there is someone at the desk but they are not available for assistance. The client wanted some screens that could fit new installations as well as be retrofitted to existing wickets. A number of onsite visits were performed to gather information and feedback. Using the findings I developed some working prototypes to test and demonstrate use. The result was an elegant retractable divider screen that would fit into the tellers work routine and blend in with wicket aesthetics. |
