The sales reps at a well known personal electronics company needed a portable display to showcase and demonstrate it’s new earphone system. Instead of the usual tabletop display of binder based information sheets, Bose went for an album style display. There was a lot of engineering and design consideration put into this unit which was eventually prototyped in aluminum and acrylic. In order for custom fabrication and design flexibility a number of extrusion profiles were created to provide not only structure but also functionality, such as panel holding slots and an integrated hinge system. |
